The Exhausting and Emotionally Charged Bath Time of a Massive 100kg Dog

One of the most concerning daily routines for butlers living with dogs is bathing. Baths are like battles for the owners, as many dogs absolutely detest water and the whole bathing process. If a small dog doesn’t like water, it can still be washed quickly; however, if a large dog has a water aversion, things can become extremely challenging for the butler. Amidst all this chaos, a butler’s daily life bathing a super-sized dog weighing over 100kg has been documented and is generating a lot of attention.

So, what happened to this butler? Last May, a video titled ‘Let’s bath a bear-sized dog that got caught in the rain’ was uploaded on the YouTube channel ‘Elegant Safari’. In the video, the butler enjoyed a refreshing morning walk with Bugatti, a ‘Caucasian Ovcharka’. After a pleasant stroll in the rain, the butler returned home and prepared a bath for the soaked Bugatti. However, instead of just soaking the body and shampooing it, the butler attempted a different approach by diluting the shampoo in water and spraying it. Since Bugatti is quite enormous, evenly spraying water all over the body turned out to be no easy feat.

The butler, armed with shampooed water, proceeded to wipe every nook and cranny of Bugatti’s body. Fortunately, Bugatti, unlike many dogs, didn’t mind the water and sat calmly while the butler worked their magic. Her expression seemed to indicate a longing to escape the bathroom at any given moment, but she obediently stayed put, perhaps for the sake of the butler. This cooperative behavior prompted the butler to remark, “Bathing Bugatti is a breeze; think of it as doing laundry for oversized clothes.” Throughout the entire bath, Bugatti remained completely motionless.

On that particular day, the butler even took the time to comb Bugatti’s hair during the bath, adding extra grooming into the mix. After the bath, the drying process alone was quite time-consuming. Despite her displeasure during the bath, Bugatti exhibited a radiant smile once it was all over, and the butler couldn’t help but smile along with her. However, some netizens expressed their concerns for the butler, commenting things like, “I’m exhausted just watching this”, “I’d be drenched in sweat after bathing Bugatti”, and even suggesting, “Isn’t this just a video of the butler taking a bath?”

Nevertheless, the butler responded and acknowledged the worrying comments, but also stated, “Seeing a happy dog makes it all worthwhile.” It’s worth noting that the Bugatti mentioned here refers to a Caucasian Ovcharka, a breed of extraordinarily large dogs. Although the specific weight is undisclosed, considering that Geumgangi, the ‘Middle Asian Ovcharka’ who also resides with them, weighs 120kg, it can be estimated that Bugatti is of similar size. Bugatti’s appetite is equally enormous, and when it comes to shedding, it produces so much hair that an adult could comfortably sleep on it.

Meanwhile, Lee Young-bin, the butler behind the ‘Elegant Safari’ YouTube channel, currently boasts 350,000 subscribers. In addition to Bugatti, she shares her life with another Middle Asian Ovcharka named Geumgang. Her love for dogs is so immense that she has established and operates a non-euthanizing shelter for abandoned dogs, all at her own expense. In fact, she strives to make a positive impact by regularly posting photos and information of puppies awaiting adoption on her social media.
