Hoping for Joyous Shares on My Unlucky Birthday

When it comes to the wonderful world of dogs, every Meet-Up is a special occasion. We take the time to celebrate the incredible diversity that exists among our furry friends. From different breeds to various categories and even distinct doggy personality types, we honor them all. And this Sunday, we have the privilege of shining a spotlight on Dogs with Disabilities!

In our hearts, there is a special place reserved for dogs with disabilities, as well as for the devoted owners who go above and beyond to ensure that their beloved pets live happy and engaged lives. These remarkable dogs face unique challenges, but their spirits remain resilient, and their tails continue to wag with joy.

This week, we are organizing a special Meet-Up exclusively for them. Whether it’s mobility issues, sensory difficulties, or other disabilities, these incredible dogs are always welcome in our loving community. So grab your furry friend and come join us for a day of fun, support, and celebration.

Don’t forget, if you bring a dog with disabilities, you’ll be entitled to a generous offer. Enjoy 1/2 price drafts throughout the duration of the meet-up. It’s our way of saying thank you for being a part of our inclusive and compassionate community.

As always, entry for humans and Bar K Members comes free of charge. For Non-Members who wish to bring their furry companion, entry is priced at $10 for the first dog, with an additional $5 for each additional dog in the household. Keep in mind that during peak season (April-October), the cost on Saturdays and Sundays is slightly higher. You will be required to pay $15 for the first dog, and $5 for each additional dog. We want everyone to be able to enjoy our facilities and events.

Before bringing your dog to Bar K, please ensure they meet our entry requirements:

• Your dog must have up-to-date vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP/Da2PP, and Bordetella.

• It is important that your dog is properly socialized for group play, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

• Your dog must be at least 12 weeks old.

• If you have a puppy who weighs under 25 lbs and is under six months of age, they are allowed in the Small Dog Park or on one of our on-leash patios. This is because puppies of that age and size may not have the necessary experience or physical ability to play safely among larger adult dogs. However, once your puppy exceeds 25 lbs or reaches six months of age, they are more than welcome to join in the fun in the All Dog Park.
