Dogs are always loyal companions who stick by our sides through thick and thin. These adorable creatures have a strong affinity for children. If your family owns a dog, your child already has a lifelong companion.
Everyone is thrilled to welcome a new addition to the family, and guess what? When they find out they have a human sibling, their furry friends are just as excited as they are. That’s exactly what we see in the Malamute family’s images and videos online!

A few weeks ago, the family welcomed a new member when mom Emma gave birth to Nathan. Shane and Emma, the baby’s parents, couldn’t be happier to introduce him to his sister Amelia and his furry siblings.

While pets can’t express themselves verbally, they have various ways of showing their excitement. Shane mentioned on Instagram that one of the dogs was thrilled to see the baby and wiggled its fluffy body.
The dogs instantly fell in love with Nathan and took turns being by his side, acting protectively towards their new sibling. Except for Buddy, the Golden Retriever, who never leaves the infant’s side, the others also stayed close to him.

Buddy enjoys sitting next to Nathan and tries to snuggle with him. However, since the baby is still very young, the dog becomes a comforter for his human sibling. Sometimes, the furry pal sleeps next to the infant, resting its snout on Nathan’s legs.

Buddy loves looking into his sibling’s eyes and follows the baby around. “When this Golden Retriever encounters a newborn, he never leaves their side!” He follows them everywhere, well, not too far because they get carried, but he’s like a little shadow. “I’m not sure what it is with our dogs, but they just enter a fluffy protective mode,” explained dad Shane.
